VA-Notes. Virginia Notes is an on-line series in Virginia documents by Daphne Gentry of the Library of Virginia's Publications and Educational Services Division. The current articles cover such topics as tithables, headrights, poll books, tax lists, and descriptions of standard references such a Swem's Index, Virginia Wills and Administrations, and Chalkey's Chronicles.
